We are going to be spending 4 nights in an agriturismo near Montepulciano (Agriturismo Il Palazzo dei Diavoli) next spring. We have seen that some other agriturismos, like Cretaiole, organize activities like a cooking or pasta-making class, a painting class, a ceramics class, hot air balloon ride, truffle search, or cheese tour. However, these agriturismos generally require a week-long stay and we can't stay that long. Does anyone know if we can book activities like this on our own?

You might check at InItaly.com. If you can't book them yourself, I'm sure they could book them for you. Friends of ours have used this group for itinerary planning/lodging and swear by them.
