I had asked this question some time before, and for some reason got very little response. I think I might have been too vague last time, so here goes again.
My wife and I are spending our last night in Rome, so I can take her on a night walk in Rome. She choose to not go the last time, and has always regretted it. We have stayed at Hotel Giardino before, and it has been fine, but I would love to get something a little closer to Trevi if possible, for somewhere in the 150-175 Euro range. Anyone know of something that might fit that description? We want something nice, but a 4-5 star is not necessary. thanks, I look forward to the help. Jeff
Do you have the RS book for either Italy or Rome? It will have quite a few suggestions in different neighborhoods in all price ranges.
Another way to approach this is to use Google maps and zoom in until the hotels start showing up. Then, just start clicking on the ones in the areas you're interested in. You can go to Trip Advisor, etc., for reviews.
Thanks all, We are still looking.
Hi, try Venere.com It is a hotel search engine with ratings, costs in your currency and for Rome, it gives the area the hotel is in. Just plug in your info and you might be able to find something suitable.
Good luck, enjoy your trip!
My favorite hotel sites are booking.com and venere. They require a stay before allowing a review. Booking.com may be better for a U.S. user and you can also plug in your location. I would advise anywhere near Trevi, Pantheon or Piazza Navona. They're all pretty close together, and all of these piazzas are very romantic for a last walk through Roma!
