I'm looking for accomodation in the Valopicella wine region. My husband loves Amarone wine and we'd like to visit some wineries and hopefully stay at a winery. Any recommendations? Thanks!
I've never stayed in the Valpolicella overnight. Just driven through (over 25 years ago) It's a hilly area that comprises a couple of small valleys (canyons, really). Marano is probably the prettiest and most famous village, on top of the hill. But the entire area is very pretty and bucolic, similar to the Chianti. Like the Chianti, the towns are rather small and I'm sure they have plenty of Agriturismo and BnB. If you would rather stay in a bigger town, Verona is really close. If you prefer lakeside accommodations, Garda and Bardolino are also a short drive away. But if you want some accommodations right there in Valpolicella below is the official tourism website for the area. They also have suggested wineries for tasting. Buon viaggio.

Mina, please don't take offense, and it's probably only an unintended typo, but it helps if the name of the destination is spelled correctly. It's Valpolicella, part of an ancient wine-producing region in the Veneto since the time of the ancient Greeks. I'm sure Roberto will drop in with some great suggestions. My interest in that region centers around the Palladian villas, though I do love the wine! :)
Thnak you Roberto. I checked out the website you recommended and it has some nice looking places I'm contacting for availability.
Thanks!
