Accommodations - where to find at least queen size beds for 6'3" traveler

Hello: I understand about the limitations for beds and size of rooms in older European hotels. I can find some hotels and b & bs that offer a "triple" room - a double and a single, which allows for the tall person 6'3" in our family to sleep diagonally on the double.
Do Rick Steves' tours, which focus on family run accommodations offer comfortable accommodations for such travellers in Italy and France? Since hotels lists are not provided until after booking, I am not sure how I can determine if we will be able to have suitable accommodations.
Thanks for any input.

Hello: Yes, I will be reaching out to the tour team, but was hoping for some input from other 'tall travelers'.
Thanks for responding.

I've been on three RS tours, and would say that we've only stayed in "family run" hotels about 2 or 3 times out of all the entire hotels. I'm sure that was a thing in the past, but not as much now. The only option we've been given is double or 2 separate beds when we fill out the request form; but have actually had king, queen, double and two beds (twinsize ) that are next to one another. It's never been an option to request a "triple room" so though you say you'd rather hear from others, the RS office by far would have the most accurate info.

Thank you! That is food for thought - that there are at least some opportunities for comfortable accommodations, although not guaranteed. As for the 'family run accommodations" - that reference still pops up in many of RS' descriptions of being close to local restaurants and a bit off the beaten path.
Cheers.

Thank you Roberto - I will do a further generic search regarding European beds as well. Mainly we just want to have comfortable sleeps to ensure we rest up for all the days' activities.
