Has anyone used the cross-pollinate website for accommodations?

Sheree, I have used them for Florence & Venice and found some great B&B's. Did you have a specific question?

We used cross-pollinate to book 2 accomodations in Rome and and apartment in Venice. I found them to be extremely easy to deal with. Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

I was just wondering how reputable it was. Thanks for your input.

Another happy customer here. One thing to be aware of: Cross-pollinate books your apartment or room with the owner. You then need to work with them on arrival times, etc. The owner of our apartment did not live on the premises, so we had to set up an arrival "window" (and honor it!!) She was waiting when we got there, gave us the keys, and we never saw her again. (We had a phone number, never needed it.) The only complaints I have read about with cross-pollinate seemed to stem from people "arriving late, no one there, didn't know what to do, etc." I think some people don't realize that it is not a hotel where someone is always available to let you in, etc. Work closely with the owners and contact them the day before you arrive to verify everything and your experience should be as trouble free as our experience.
