The hotels can change from tour to tour. It's best to call the RS office for info. If you're on a RS tour, you'll receive the names of the hotels before the tour starts. Safe travels!

Thanks for the reply. We aren’t headed out until 2024, the RS itinerary looks jam packed and I like a lot of things about the descriptions of the tours. Trying to decide between Collette and RS. Leaning towards RS but keep seeing mildly negative reviews about the accommodations.

I did Best of Italy in October 2022. Here are the hotels we stayed in for Rome, Venice and Florence. They do change from tour date to tour date.

Venice - Hotel Serenissima. Great location. Unbelievably varied breakfast. I was in a single room so those tend to be quite small and this one was although the bathroom was pretty spacious and shower was huge.

Florence - Hotel Accademia Excellent location. Huge room....I got the handicap accessible room here so it was giant. Interestingly I stayed at this hotel on my first RS tour in 2013, lol!!

Rome - Hotel Aberdeen Good location. My room was a little tired and needed a reno but bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

How many people are on the Collette tours? RS maxes at 28.

editing to add: Here is a link to my TR from last year if that might be of interest to you.

We just finished the Venice-Florence-Rome tour last week. In Venice, we stayed at the Pensione Guerrato. It’s a popular hotel for the RS tours. I really liked its location and ambiance. Two left turns from the entrance and you’re looking right at the Rialto Bridge! In Florence, we stayed at the Hotel Silla on the Oltrarno side. And in Rome, we stayed at the Hotel Ludovisi Palace, near the Gardens of the Villa Borghese. The latter was the most modern and larger of the 3.
