We will be in Rome July, 2019. We have stayed at Albergo del Senato in the past, but never in their Mini Apartment which is located on the main floor of the hotel and accommodates 4 adults. Has anyone ever stayed here before and if so what was your impression.

We have not stayed at Albergo del Senato which looks really nice. When we stayed in the Pantheon area we stayed at Albergo Abruzzi which is just across from del Senato. Our room looked out at the front of the Pantheon and the Piazza della Rotunda. Our room was nice, the windows did a good job of blocking noice and it was a convenient location.They don't have a breakfast room, each morning they give you a chit for a continental breakfast at a cafe on the Piazza. The desk manager arranged for a taxi for us on departure day at O Dark thirty with a very reasonable price, so we were very happy with the hotel.

I’ve stayed at both Albergo Del Senato and Albergo Abruzzi but not in the mini apartment in Albergo Del Senato. I’m sure the mini apartment is nice but if you are okay being on the ground floor. I prefer an upper floor for the views of the Pantheon and square. I liked the modern aesthetic and amenities of Albergo Abruzzi and the direct views of the Pantheon but I really loved the incredible breakfast buffet at Albergo Del Senato. The breakfast was the only disappointment at Abruzzi but other than that, we enjoyed it. The prices at Abruzzi are also less than Albergo Del Senato. You might check to see whether Abruzzi has a little apartment or suite that would accommodate all of your party. Good luck!
