Accommodations near Malpensa

Does anyone have a suggestion for a place to stay near the airport? We are thinking about staying there the night before our flight. We'll be coming from Varenna and we don't want to rush.

We stayed at Hotel Cardona and they will shuttle you to Malpensa at no charge. We arrived at Hotel Cervo at 10 pm and they had "lost" our reservation and were fully booked. However, they found us a room at Cardona. It is quiet and recently redone. Great beds, bathroom, and breakfast.

Do not stay at Hotel Cervo. We stayed there this past October and were not pleased. The restaurant was closed and we saw no indication that it was EVER open. They suggested we walk to a "nearby" restaurant. It was dark and wet so we drove to the nearby Crown Plaza. I don't know what the Crown Plaza charges, but I would stay there next time or at the hotel recommended by the poster above.

We had reservations at a wonderful B&B near Malpensa but had to cancel due to a flight change.

The name of the place is: www.icastagni-bb.it

A double room was 80 euro, includes breakfast and free shuttle from 6 AM-12 PM. While only 5 miles from Malpensa the place is set in a woodland area.

The closest train station is Gallarate and the owner said he would have picked us up when we arrived.

There is a review for this B&B at www.slowtalk.com

Our only regret is that we couldn't have gone there.

Thank you all for your help. I'm kinda new at this and don't know exactly how to find specific topics, so I apologize for asking a previously asked question. Thank you, Leone, for your details on the B&B. It sounds like a nicer way to end the trip.
Happy Travels!
