Accommodations in Turin

I was last in Turin over 10 years ago, but I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour http://www.romarocca.it/eng/hotel.html It is right near the train station, and is a classic hotel from the era when staying at a "train station hotel" was grand and glamorous. It was a bit dilapidated, but the room was huge and the price was low (particularly so on weekends, as Turin is a weekday business destination and has lower occupancy on weekends). I have not checked recent reviews, and don't have any further information. I'd stay there again if it has not worsened, and would jump at the chance of staying there if it has been improved (the location is very convenient). I'm not sure what you mean by "concert venues." Were you looking for classical, rock, jazz, or something else? I don't know anything about any of these, but others can help if you specify what sort of music you were interested in.
