accommodation near Agrigento for 2 nights

We are looking for accommodation in mid October for 2 nights near Agrigento & plan to visit Agrigento & The Valley of Temples. Our budget is approximately 175 euros per night. We would like to stay in a smaller town and/or in the countryside & hope to find a hotel or agriturismo or ?? which includes breakfast, private bathroom & easy parking on site or nearby. We tentatively booked an apartment in Favara, but decided that we would like something other than an apartment as we will be staying in apartments for the other parts of our 11 day Sicily adventure.

We are staying at Fattoria Mose when we go to Agrigento in October. It is a reasonably priced agriturismo with good reviews. You may want to check it out

We stayed at Fattoria Mose and it was a wonderful experience. The lovely, sprawling property has been in the family for years. Our room was large. Breakfast was nice with homemade jams and olive oils. We ate with the family the first night and the second night we ate with about 16 other guests from around the world. It's not a fancy place, as the charming hostess said, "We don't get posh people". Perfect for us, I would stay there again.

We stayed at Foresteria Baglio Della Luna on the RS Sicily tour and really liked it. Our room had a small balcony but not all of the rooms do. There is a view of the temples in the distance from the hotel. Breakfast is included and there is parking. It looks like it fits your price point for October.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Will check them out.

Another vote for Fattoria Mose, where we’ve stayed twice. Not fancy but a lovely and authentic place and the owner, Chiara, is delightful. I’d go back again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Villa San Marco. It’s down a dirt road, so look up how to reach it before heading over. It affords a great view of the temples and has plenty of free parking. Breakfast was included. It also had a couple dinner specials, so we never went into Agrigento proper. From the B&B we walked to the Valley of the Temples via a path through an olive grove.

After arriving at the B&B we went walking and arrived at Temple of Vulcano (Hefestos) not by the other temples that are within the park. Walking back to the B&B we stumbled into Kolymbethra gardens so looked around it.
