Hi
My husband and I are going to be in Vernazza in April. Any advice for accommodation? We do not require luxury - a clean, comfortable room with a shower and (hopefully) friendly host. We like to walk, drink coffee, explore the surrounds. I would love to stay on Piazza Marconi if there are any personal recommendations. We don't mind walking up some flights of stairs.
I will be there too in April and found my place on Airbnb. Read the reviews and if you need help, just ask. Amazing place.
Hello
I’ve stayed in Manarola but not Vernazza. But I’m writing to say that I based my research on places listed in the RS guidebook and was quite happy with the selection that he recommended. Perhaps you’ll find this a good starting point too?
Good luck. Sorry that I don’t have firsthand rental experience in Vernazza.
We stayed at I Limoni di Vernazza last summer for 2 nights. Yes, you will have to go out stairs. The entire town has hills all around as you explore too. We were happy with our stay there. We walked to the building from the train station and it is convenient for exploring the town. Have a great trip.
Robyn,
I would also suggest having a look at the RS Italy guidebook, as that will have a current list of reliable accommodations. You may also find this interesting, although they don't appear to have information on lodgings and restaurants posted yet - https://visitvernazza.org/?lang=en .
