Any suggestions for decent hotels in the city center ideally serving free breakfast for both cities?Budget range is 150-200USD per night.
In Florence,I have come across good reviews for Hotel Perseo,Hotel Colomba and Hotel Giglio.Has anyone stayed at either of these properties?

Have you looked at Hotel Azzi in Florence? Had a very enjoyable stay at a good price.

We stayed at B&B Ai Tagliapietra in 2010 and it was wonderful. Lorenzo serves a nice Italain-style breakfast, the rooms are clean, and it is 5 minutes from San Marco. I think we padi 90 euros per night. Ciao!
