Accidental Tourist - cooking class

I have been looking into taking a cooking class while in Florence,Italy and liked the Accidental Tourist's website and information. Has anyone taken one of their classes and what did you think about it or does anyone have other recommendations? Thanks.

My husband and I booked one of their cooking classes through our hotel in florence back in May 2001. That day was one of the highlights of our trip. We made ravioli ( I think my husband enjoyed himself more than anyone there), then had a feast in the courtyard. Lots of food and lots of wine. Fantastic!

Hi Mari, I took their day trip back last May. You can sign up for the "cooking" tour, which means that after you visit a winery (seeing the facility), do some tasting, you head to someone's home where they teach you to make different kinds of pasta. After the class is done, you enjoy eating your pasta with others in a wonderful Tuscan setting. It's a great day.
