has anyone used the accidental tourist tour guide from Florence for trips to Tuscany?
Hi Shawn, I had the pleasure of experiencing Accidental Tourist in May. It was the highlight of my entire 14 day Italy trip. You have a choice of the type of tour - they all go to the same Winery where you will see the whole process, then go wine tasting before you head out to the Host's house. Then, the cooking class gets cooking, I think the hikers get hiking, etc. The day I went, it was pouring rain so there was either the cooking or the "snooze" tour. We enjoyed the pasta the class made and had the most amazing lunch. And the Chianti wine and olive oil were exceptional. I wish I had bought a whole case of wine and shipped it back home!
Thanks so much for your advice. I think we will give them a try. We will taking our trip on Saturday and the winery is closed then. I'm not sure what will replace that part of the tour.
