We will be in Venice next week and I wanted to purchase tickets to the Accademia so we can skip the line. Our 20 and 21 year old children will be with us. Do they qualify for the reduced ticket or is this just students in the EU?

According to the website, only E.U. students qualify:

"Reduced price ticket: € 6.00 (€ 1,50 booking fee)
• European Union Citizens aged 18 to 25 with identification document
• Permanent state teachers without their school group"

We also really liked the Peggy Guggenheim museum. Great modern art collection.

In my 10 years of visiting Venice I have never seen a line at the Accademia. It's a shame - the art is breathtaking.
