I have just tried twice to purchase advance tickets for the Accademia & Uffizi thru the B-ticket web site, but after entering all info I get "transaction cancelled". Has anyone else had trouble?
Check with your credit card, sometimes the problem is on this end and they may just need clearance from you that it is a legal transaction and you are trying to make a purchase in Italy.
I had the same problem. I have the phone # recommended on another post (re b-ticket.com early time slots). Just hoping there's an easy solution. My credit card company says everything is fine with my account and I've tried multiple browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Explorer). Any other suggestions?
I reserved tickets to the Uffizi and Accademia 2 weeks ago using AMEX. I used the B-ticket website as well. Everything went fine. You might want to reserve the tickets by phone.
Ditto here. Have attempted 3 times today. Just checked with my bank and they said the issue is not on their end. Guess I'll have to try calling to make the reservations. Too bad because the reservation slots keep getting taken every time I start over.

I booked last month with my Amex card and all worked well.
I just tried and couldn't complete with Master Charge. I have Paypal account so paid thru Paypal electronic bank trasfer and saved credit card foreign transaction fee (3%). Hope this helps.
I didn't know the two extra charge for Uffizi online booking. But everyone said the line is too long otherwise.
I booked about a month ago for July using Visa and had no problems. I noticed another poster had no problems a month or so ago, so maybe there is a current glitch that will go away.
