Any other suggestions for last minute getting reservations? (I messed up by not getting them yesterday when it showed availability online at b-ticket site.)

If you have hotel/b&b reservations ask your host to call and make the reservation for you. Many will make the call if you give them times and dates you would like to go. They or some will do this for you for no charge.
