Can you buy tickets at the entrance or do they have to be bought in advance?
When I check buying tickets in advance for the Accademia they are not available on Oct. 16th. Does that mean you cannot buy them at the entrance either?

The Accademia is closed on Mondays.
The Medici Chapels are open on the 2nd and 4th Monday and the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday.
October 16 is the third Monday.
On the "b-ticket" booking website, for a given date, a place is listed only if it is open and will say "sold out" if that is the case.
