Does anyone know why tickets would not be listed for Sunday June 5 at the firenzemusei.it site? I am only in Florence for three nights , arriving on Saturday and the museums are closed on Mondays as usual. Thanks!

Found the answer and posted if anyone else interested. The museums are free (and crowded) the first Sunday of the month.

Each month the first Sunday has free but non reservable access, so tickets are not sold .

Good luck with the lines at major museums on the free Sunday.
Check schedules, many museums in Firenze are closed either Monday or Tuesday.

I agree that Sunday not a good idea with limited time to try enjoy the experience and I will try to book both museums after I arrive on Saturday!
