Academy Hostel Florence, Via Ricacoli 9

Hi all,

I am going to Italy in April 2025 and specifically want to book accommodations at the Academy Hostel at Via Ricasoli 9 (the building where my grandmother grew up). However when I navigate to the booking website, it always says no dates are available. I’m wondering if maybe the hostel does not exist? Or maybe has to be booked in person? Any advice for securing a booking would be appreciated as this is a must-do for me.

Ordinarily I would think maybe you are trying to book too early. But since I am interested in hostels, I researched this one. There were no reservation dates in November either. It's curious that there are no recent reviews that I could find, after plentiful reviews 7-8 years ago. You might email the tourism office at [email protected] and ask them to verify whether this one is still in business.
