Hoping to get some good Itinerary ideas for our stay in Abruzzo. We are staying in a VRBO in Teramo. We have family (we believe) in Nareto. We want to do some ancestry exploring, but want to experience the sea/beaches, food, wine and culture. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Gigi - You can start by exploring Lake Barrea and the town of Vasto in the region. Fara San Martino, the kingdom of Italian pasta is not to be missed. For wine tasting, I recommend winery Azienda Agricola Dino Illuminati, Contrada S. Biagio, 18, 64010 Controguerra TE, Italy. Roccascalegna is a great town with a castle perched on the mountain above overlooking the town. a trip there can be a wonderful experience.
