Abruzzo farmers market?

Has anyone had the opportunity to visit any of the farmers markets in this area? Which ones and which communities? What do each of them sell? We will be in this area from May 22 - 27. Thanks in advance.

Sulmona is the best in the area. Second favorite is Popoli. Most of the truly smaller towns like mine are down to one housewares or clothing truck, one veg truck on a good day, a plant/flower truck and maybe the porchetta truck will swing by. The pandemic killed them.

But Sulmona is fantastic, set on the main piazza right by the remaining Roman acqueduct and just full of vendors: fruit and veg, fish, cheese, TWO porchetta trucks, the usual housewares kitsch, at this time of year lots of plants for your garden, cut flowers, and more. Plus it's a gorgeous town with some great restaurants. The Saturday morning market is best, with more vendors, but they are also open Wednesday morning, just slightly smaller.

Popoli's market is larger than expected for the size of the town and always has local vendors of vegetables, dried beans, fresh baked bread and more. Cheese, lots of cheese. Monday and Thursday mornings.
