I am travelling to Italy in mid August to early September and am looking to travel over the to the Abruzzo Coast. I do not drive so any ideas for places to go and stay by the sea that are accessible by bus/train would be appreciated. I am looking to spend 2-3 days there. Thanks!

Tortoreto Lido, Alba Adriatica, Roseto, Vasto. Even better, go slightly more to the south into Apulia in the Gargano Peninsula. Vieste and the nearby Tremiti islands are there. Vieste is like the Cinque Terre without the Rick Steves' tribes. Check these places on Google Images and decide.
