Sorry for the misunderstanding - I did not word my question clearly yesterday - I was rushing.
We land in Pisa (late Sat)and think we'll stay at Michele's Guest House that night (in process). We will leave the next day to Florence and stay Sun (and Mon?) night. THEN we go to Cinque Terre and have a week there. I am asking for any suggestions from people who have been to these places recently (the last year or so) because I am overwhelmed with all the research options and I am travelling with 2 young people who have travelled South America without any pre-bookings and had a magical time. I'm trying to combine preparation and Trust - with your help. I appreciate your suggestions and kindness.

In each town go to the Tourist Information Office and ask for info. that will help you plan your visit.

Look at the websites for each of those towns and then ask your 2 young people to look at them and tell you what they are interested in instead of trying to second guess them. Why aren't they helping to plan this trip?
