I am renting a villa in sienna in July with another family. 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 14 and 14). Would love all recommendations for day trips, vineyards, restaurants, activities. We will have a car. Thank you.

Sienna is a great place to visit. Not sure that I would spend a week there. You can see the place in one day.
Day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi.

Since you have the kids, I'm going to suggest Riserva Naturale Basso Merse and/or Riserva Naturale Farma. You could also take a relatively long drive to the beach at Grossetto, which has gotten "blue flag" awards for clean beach & seawater.
