A special activity idea near Milan

Hi everyone, I am halfway through my Italy 23-day trip and will write up a trip report when I’m back. But, I wanted to share an extra special activity idea for anyone who is in the planning stage and will be around Milan.

I took the 45-minute train from Milan to stay in the upper Citta Alta of Bergamo. What a treasure of stunning architecture and fun lanes to explore! This was a 3-day stop for me, and I enjoyed all three days.

I signed up for a couple of outdoor classes and want to share them with you - highly recommend them! I met with Martin Cambriglia one afternoon for his private sketching class and the next morning for his private watercolor painting class - very reasonable price! I am a beginner at both, and he patiently explained and helped me create two beautiful sketches & paintings I will display in my home office. I posted a picture of each on my FB page, and my friends & family loved them, too….and a little surprised! ; ). Just looking at them now reminds me of the beautiful Piazza Vecchio and the stunning cathedral marble entrance. (He let me choose what I wanted as the scene and made suggestions.). I like to take classes that I am utilize again, such as the croissant class in Paris that I continue to make croissants. The skills Martin showed me in this class will also be something I can continue to enjoy. His contact is Info@martincambriglia.com
