Hello, I'm looking for advice on where to stay, nice restaurants for dinner and best excursion to get out on the water and/or partake in a cooking class in December....I know I'm asking a lot but would sure value your opinions! Thank you!
If you don't mind walking IL Roseto is a wonderful B&B that is about a 7-10 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are spacious and clean. All the rooms come with a private bathroom and breakfast is included. For 65 euros it is a fantastic deal. Check it out on tripadvisor. It is such a great value I can't believe it is not in Rick's book.
have you tried looking in a guide book? Lots of recommendations on restaurants, places to stay, and things to do.
We tried 3 of the restaurants that Rick recommends in his Snapshot book. They were all terrific. daGigino, LaLanternaDue and the one on Pizza Tasso (sorry, the name escapes me, but they had great pizza.) You might want to try Ciao Laura for cooking lessons.
I suggest you look at venere.com and tripadvisor.com for accommodations. Both sites provide hotels/b&b's/apartments, map locations, pricing, and client reviews.
