My wife and I are in our seventies and in love with Venice. We hope to find someone who can meet us in Milan and help with our luggage and take us to Venice, and after that be our guide occasionally. Do you know anyone who would do this? Thanks.

Are you flying in to Milan and spending time there first ?
If not-why not fly in to Venice?

Maybe find someone to help you onto the train in Milan.
And then someone else to meet you at the station. Venezia Santa Lucia, in Venice.
Venezia SL is at the end of the line, so you don’t have to scramble off the train.

I can recommend this company: https://www.joebananalimos.net/ We used them for a transfer from Naples to Positano and they provided a separate guide for us in Pompeii. Email them and let them know what you need and I am sure they could put it together for you. They do provide services throughout Italy, as well.
If you want to save some money, you might try looking for two different people, a transfer service to get you from Milan to Venice, and a separate person to guide you in Venice. Ask your hotel if they have recommendations!
