Anyone know a good source for renting a flat/ apartment in Florence (or nearby)?? Looking for a Trustworthy company and nice, clean, safe place for a week or two.

I have used vrbo.com and have found them reliable. They have numerous listings for Florence. I also checked on homeaway.com and they have listings for Florence. Hope this helps.

We've used vrbo also and found them excellent. You deal directly with the owner. We rented vrbo Florence 33401 two years ago for a week; it's a block from the Baptistry on a pedestrian street and has an incredible view of the Duomo dome from the deck.

We just returned from Florence where we stayed in a lovely apartment which I would highly recommend! We rented from Italy Perfect and the name of the apartment was Prisco. Situated in a lovely location with many restaurants, a bakery, and a rosticceria located right below.
