A day trip from Florence to Siena on a Sunday...

In about a month my wife and I will be in Florence for a couple of days. I'm thinking about a day trip to Siena, but when I do research on the bus schedules, I'm getting the impression that there are extremely limited options on the weekends. It doesn't help that the finding the bus schedules are difficult, and reading them correctly is even more difficult. Is there anyone who has experience in this area that can help me out? Is it going to be worth it to try and day trip out to Siena on a Sunday? Much appreciated.

I see plenty of choices on Sundays too. Not as many of course, since during weekdays you have lots of commuters, but there is one every hour or two.
The # sign means "giornaliero" (daily) and the = sign means "festivo" (Sundays and holidays). http://www.mega.it/ita/not/sita.htm You also have the train option if you wish. There are also plenty of trains, although by train it takes a little longer (90 min instead of 70 by bus). The last train back to Florence departs from Siena at 9:27 pm and arrives in Florence at 10:53 pm (I tested for this next Sunday) http://www.trenitalia.com/
