I have been researching on this site for several years. We just returned from 3 weeks in Italy. I would like to thank EVERYONE for your support and kind responses to all of my inquiries. We started in Venice (yes, we were there for the Aqua Alta and walked 1/4 mile in the water), then to Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre, Florence, then Rome. We contribute our easy transition into Italy to our detailed planning, maps and all of your help. Thank you again.

We are already planning our trip for 2014. Can't wait to return. It was everything we expected AND MORE.
