No question. We just wanted to let everyone know about a great hotel we found in Rome. Albergo Cesare is near the Pantheon, and the streets around it are filled with great little restaurants and shops. The hotel is centrally located, and is really accessible for walking to the many sites in central Rome - 2 easy blocks West to the Pantheon, 3 more easy blocks to Piazza Navona. A ten minute walk East to Trevi Fountain, and South to Piazza Venezia; and a 15-20 minute easy walk Northeast to the Spanish Steps. The hotel is housed in a 4 story building, with a great rooftop terrace where they serve an included buffet breakfast each morning. The terrace becomes a bar after 6 PM. The staff is great, and all speak Englishm -- Bernardo took very good care of us during our six nights there. The proces are very comparable with other hotels in Rome, cheaper than many we saw. We paid 189 Euros per night for a King bed room, with in-suite bathroom, on the 4th floor. The central location and amenities the hotel offers makes it our only place to stay on return trips to Rome.
