Parking for a few days in Monaco

We will be driving to Monaco arriving 11/1 and staying for a few days, but touring locally by train/bus. What is the alternative to spending $50/day in the hotel lot? I know there is parking available in Monaco but what prices might I expect and can I just leave the car for 3 days?

Whenever I've been to Montecarlo (I used to go a lot, but a very long time ago) I used to stay in Menton (much cheaper and very close) and drive to Monaco for the day. There are plenty of public parking lots but I don't know the prices nowadays. I'll give you the map of all of them and maybe someone else will have a more updated information on prices. http://www.monaco-montecarlo.com/documentation/Brochure_Plan_Officiel.pdf

Actually a quick search in Italian led me to a major Italian daily newspaper which had a recent article on the (expensive) parking in the Principality. Apparently, the article says, all parking lots are managed by the same company (Monaco-Parking). The article even provided the website to the company (see below). The rates (tariffs in French) are published here and depending on which parking lot they range from about 20 to 30 Euro for the whole day (forfait journalier). Not too bad. Cheaper than your hotel if they charge you $50. Happy travel. But consider Menton, if you haven't gotten a hotel already. Much quainter than Monaco (never been impressed by the Principaute, for whatever reason) https://www.monaco-parkings.mc/tariffs

Roberto - thanks for the comments...we'll see what other ideas come in and I'll update RS fans on my findings in any case.
