I understand the direct bus from the airport would be the most convenient for us. Any better suggestions.....3 lady friends traveling for the first time

Exactly whereabouts are you staying in Sorrento? If in the town itself the airport bus is usually the way to go.

Not real sure yet, would like "Pension Elios" but maybe it would be too far from town, also "Ulisse Deluxe Hostel". Thanks,

See my reply to your other post re bus to Elios. For either one and if your luggage is not heavy, I would get the airport bus. However, if you do decide to get a taxi from Sorrento railway station, where the airport bus drops you off, to the Elios you are looking at about a 25 euro plus fare. So for the three of you it is 55 euro plus total cost from the airport. For another 20 euro or so you could get a door to door private transfer service.
