9 nights in Florence, March 2022

We're headed back to Italia in March and spending our entire time in Florence--I'll be studying Italian for a week at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. :) This will be our 3rd time to Firenze and we have stayed once in a bed & breakfast quite far from the center (across the river but quite a ways west), and this last time we were just a stone's throw from the Duomo. We don't necessarily need to be that close again but something in between would be ideal. Close enough to walk (possibly in the rain). We'd like an apartment with a washer and dryer and kitchen. I'm finding lots of great options on AirBNB but thought I would ask here in case anyone has a place they just loved or any hidden gems to recommend for an extended stay. Grazie mille!

How about the Oltrarno area? We stayed along the Arno at Hotel Silla. I understand they have 3 apartments to rent since we were there. We enjoyed the quiet location, & comfortable walking distance to sites & restaurants.

We've stayed at this place a couple of times: https://www.vacationperfect.com/vrp/unit/casetta-bonsi, most recently for a 3 week anniversary trip a couple of years ago. Nice location on the Oltrarno side of the river and about 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. Lovely hosts, A/C, full kitch, washer/dryer, etc.
The parent company ItalyPerfect.com has a number of other very nice self-catering properties located throughout the city .

I don't know what your budget is, but we stayed here for four nights in Sept 2019, and I thought it was the best vacation rental I've ever stayed in in 20 years of renting apartments.
Sparkling clean, and it had everything and more that a person could need.
There were four of us, so we split the cost.
You could walk to school in about 10 minutes, and it's very quiet in that area.
It's a short walk from P. San Marco, but away from the noise from all the buses there.

There is no dryer, but in all these years, I've never had a rental in Italy that had a dryer.

I loved going to Italian language school in Florence in 2010....of course you can just pretend you live there!

Thanks so much for the suggestions everyone! So far nearly everything you all have recommended is either fully booked or slightly out of budget, which I should have mentioned--we're aiming for around $1k USD but that's flexible.
