My husband and i would like to plan a trip to the south of Italy. We are planing to fly into Naples. We will only have 8 nights. We are thinking of staying in two towns and to take day trips to see other towns. Which towns would be the best to stay in? Or any Itinerary suggestions would be appreciated. We are more interested in seeing the towns, restaurants, beach and relaxing. Not so much on museums. Thank you in advance for any help
Are you thinking of traveling to the boot of Italy ? Or the Amalfi Coast ?
What time of year? Are you considering renting a car for part or all of the time? Are you interested in Pompeii/Herculaneum? Capri or one of the other islands?
In the south of Italy, I love Napoli, the Amalfi Coast, Paestum, and Matera. Those would take 8-9 nights (two base cities, daytrip the rest).
Hi. We are not thinking about renting a car.. We could use suggestions on transportation. 1st week of May is when we intend to go. We have had mixed reviews on staying in Naples. Some say its mostly Industrial and some say its nice.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again
