Has anyone had experience with Sorrento Silver Star car service or Monetti Taxi? We will be arriving from Rome to Naples and need transport from train to Minori for 4 adults and 2 children. Both companies emailed me back with availability and price.

Carolyn, Both firms are listed in the Guidebook, so I'm sure either would be reliable. I believe the Monetti's are the ones Rick uses in his TV show.

Hi Carolyn from Boston...nice name :) we used Sorrento Silver Star for two transfers (Tropea to Sorrento, Sorrento to Rome) and a day trip (Amalfi Coast/Paestum) and were pleased. Catello was our driver and he was very nice, easy to communicate with and informative. They had the best price at the time. if you have lots of luggage be sure to let them know in advance.
