My wife and I are bringing our 3 children (15, 14, 10) to Cinque Terre in June. Any suggestions on which town to stay in and places to see. We are staying for 3 nights. Thanks for your input.

Greg, With 3 children, I think you should book a room with a hotel in Monterosso new town. Monterosso is the only town in CT have a beach and hotels. The other towns have rooms and apartments. As for places to see. See all five towns and take the ferry to Portovenere. It is beautiful there.

Greg, I would also suggest staying in Monterosso, as it's the largest of the five villages so will have more Hotel choices (as well as a nice beach). Check the Guidebook for listings (should be a copy in your local Library or larger bookstores). The Guidebook also has great information on touring and "places to see". Happy travels!

Monterosso is a good choice for kids, you have a beach and a little more action. Book asap as June fills up very quickly.
