Which tour guides? You don't tip RS guides. You don't tip Intrepid guides. In non-tipping countries you don't tip anyone unless you're on an American run tour, and often not then.

Which countries in Europe are non-tipping countries? Just curious as I think tips are acceptable and welcome in all the countries here. There is a big difference between private tours and joining in on a group tour, but if you feel the guide did a good job and you enjoyed the tour, then tip what you like.

Jo - just giving a general answer to a general question, lol. But I don't tip London Walks' guides, for instance, although I do tip in UK restaurants.
