7 Days in Rome in 2009...one of them is Easter

I am in Rome for 7 days and am following the suggestions outlined in Rick's ROME 2008 book (p 16-17), and I am not sure what would be the best itinerary for Sunday, April 12 which is Easter. This will be my “day 6” I am not interested in attending church. I am day-tripping to Naples/Pompeii day 5 as I was not sure if things would be closed on Sunday. Any suggestions?

FYI - many things ARE closed on Easter - but almost as many are closed on Easter MONDAY - also a holiday here, so plan accordingly. Many stores, markets, etc. are shuttered, but most tourist locations are open.
