Hi! My family of 4 will be in Rome for the holidays beginning 12/24-31, and leave via London on NY's day. Extremely excited! We are waiting for a possible confirmation for teh Xmas midnight mass. I'd like to ask your opinion on the tentative itinerary I put together for me and my family to make the most of our stay. here's what I have:
12/24: arrive Rome 4 pm- dinner, midnight mass(?)
12/25: walk around , familiarize with area ( since you said most attarctions are closed)
12/26: colosseum am, borghessi gallery pm
12/27, 12/28: florence, milan (if doable, pisa and assisi)
12/29: early sistine/vatican entrance tix, Necropolis, 12:30
12/29 late or 12/30 early: leave Rome for Paris
12/31 leave Paris for London
01/01: 9:30 am flight from London to US
Is this too ambitious a plan? Thank you in advance!
