I'm considering traveling to Italy this fall sometime and spending three months (about 90 days). I am interested in staying in Sicily and other parts of Southern Italy during most of that time , hoping to avoid cold weather. I will be on a fairly strict budget. I would probably fly into Rome from San Francisco. Any suggestions about where to stay?
