I'm looking to book a private tour guide for myself and three other people in Venice, Florence, and Rome. Any suggestions for finding such a service? I should mention that we're wanting a walking tour; something in the same vein as the Sandeman tours (http://www.neweuropetours.eu/) done in other European towns. Thanks for the help!!
Zach, I can't provide any suggestions for Guides in Venice and Florence, but there's good information listed in the Italy Guidebook. For a fantastic walking tour of various parts of Rome, I would highly recommend Francesca Caruso. She's an incredible Guide, with an extensive knowledge of the history and sites in Rome! Send me a PM if you want her E-mail address. Happy travels!

I was looking into walking tours for a trip to Italy later this year and came up with the following Florence/Venice/Rome websites. http://www.italy.artviva.com http://www.tours-italy.com
http://www.enjoyrome.com However, have not used any of them ...yet. Do post feedback on any walking tours you take, would be very interested on your experiences.
