Wading through the ferry maps, we are trying to find a ferry from Italy to the Rovinj/Pula region. Is this even possible ??

In the summer months, Venezia Lines runs ferries from Venice to Rovinj and Pula, I think they run once a day. I don't know if there are other ferry lines departing from other ports.

you can get ferries from Pescara and Ancone as well as Bari. in Summer seasons you have 3 trips from Ancona daily. These lines are usually going to Split and Dubrovnik and some of them will stop on major islands before reaching coast.
