Hotel in Rome

Looking for a reasonable hotel in Rome for 1 night. Have checked most of the hotels in Rick's book but they are booked. We are taking the train from La Spezia and will only be in Rome for 1 1/2 days. Need a hotel that is convenient to the train station and some of the sites. Would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
