We are spending 2 nights in Palermo, 1 in Cefalu, and 3 Nights In Taormina. Considering I only have to spend one half day or less in the little Town of Aspra where my family is from. How should we divy up our time? Worth it/possible to do a day trip to Lipari? Possible to do a day trip to Siracusa? We will have a rental car of our own.

Siracusa is about a two hour drive from Taormina, so yes, very possible. Go early as there's a good bit to see there.

Siracusa is close enough to Taormina, but the archeological zone and museum take some time. Since you are driving, you could stop in Cefalu on your way to Taormina.

Thanks for the replies! We are going to spend one night in Cefalu between our two in Palermo and three in Taormina. Looks like a day trip to Lipari might be pushing it. As we do want to do a half day exploring Etna...
