Hello every body
I am going to have short trip at Rome with my family (6 people). Tour guide mentioned is going to coast us about € 960, to visit colosseum and few other places, which include transportation as well. i don't have any idea if its fair price or not! If any body has experience or comment please kindly share with me.

A price of €960 seems a bit high, even for a group of six people. Could you provide some further details of your trip....
- Why do you only have six hours?
- Are you arriving by air and will have to travel to the city from the airport?
- Where are you going after Rome?
- What are you most interested in seeing in Rome?
With a bit more information, it will be easier to offer more specific suggestions.

960 euros sounds high to me, too. Regarding transportation within the city, taxis cab be an affordable way to connect your sightseeing, but those waiting at the taxi stands at any given time won't always be big enough for 6 people.

That is the equivalent of about $1300, or over $200 per person for 6 hours. Too rich for my blood! But if you are coming from a cruise ship, that is probably better than what the cruise ship would charge.
