6 hour layover in Naples - Ideas?

My husband and I have a 6 hour layover from 2-8pm on Oct 9th in Naples, on our way to Turin, and are looking for something to do near the airport for a few hours while we wait. I have checked and they do have baggage storage for a small fee at the airport, so that is not an issue. We do have lounge access, but I really don't want to just sit in a lounge an drink the afternoon a way with Italy at our feet, if possible, but I'm not sure how difficult the airport is to get into/out of, and if there is anything worthwhile to do nearby.

Any thoughts on this are welcome.

.Lucky u! Take.a Taxi to Heraculeum (Getty institute outdoor archaeological project) or Naples archaeological museum. Both are 5 stars to me.
Hope this helps.

The airport is very near downtown so a trip to the Naples Archeological Museum would be possible with time left to try one of the best pizzas in the world. Taxis have flat rates to various areas of the city. Look them up and state that rate to the driver when you hire him in case he “forgets”.

You won't have time to see Pompei or herco. The Archeological museum is nice; for a museum. It is actually very nice.

If it were me having seem the museum, Popeii and my suggestion, I'd go w/ my suggestion: the underground. Look online for Cities of the Underworld in Florence.

This tour was awesome...10 years ago or so and hopefully still is:
