Hello, experienced RS travelers, We took recommendations from the FB page to consider a trip to Sicily after our Morocco tour. We signed up for Best of Sicily in 11 Days beginning Feb 25. We have six days before the RS tour starts in Palermo. We could fly from Rome into either Palermo or Catania. We are willing to drive. From what I can quickly surmise, it looks like the towns of Ragusa, Noto, Modica and Scicli could be worth some time. But, we also want a couple of days in Palermo to see some of the sights that we won't see on the tour, and perhaps take a day trip to Cefalu (from Palermo). Where would you advise us to spend our time and sights to see? Thank you, kindly!

You listed some ideas for a good visit. Palermo has so much to see and the RS tour shortchanges it. Adding a few days to your time in Palermo is a very good idea. Take a train to Cefalu for a day trip.

I took day trips to Ragusa, Noto and Cefalu and recommend them. I liked Siracusa better than Palermo, so I would add days to Siracusa instead of Palermo, if possible.
