6-day Catamaran Sail around the Amalfi Coast

Hello!
My husband and I are traveling to Italy late Aug 2026 to September 9th. We are first traveling to Sardinia where we will sail the La Maddalena Archipelago for 4 nights/5 days. Then we fly back to Naples, where we'd like to sail (with a skipper) for 6 days around Amalfi, hitting some key spots such as Positano, Ravello, Salerno and possibly Capri. We are hoping to find a charter for the 2nd - 8th, and a smaller catamaran that has no more than 3 cabins since it's just the two of us. Any recommendations on who to look at? How to accomplish this? Thank you in advance!
(Note: our dates are 100% set. We must leave on 9/9.)

I’m just taking a stab at this cause I’ve never done this. But why not call one of the top hotels on the AC or Capri (JK Place Capri, Le Sirenuese, etc) and see if they can recommend.

Hi Kimberly,
Just a suggestion to also consider Procida the isle, plus Minori the town on the itinerary.
We would place either over Salerno for a visit. Minori punches above its weight for foodic possibilities and Procida is very beautiful.

I don’t mean to quibble, but beautiful Ravello has an elevation of 1200 feet, so it is very far from the water. Some ports, including famous Positano, are quite small, with limited pier space. The water can be quite rough. It is not possible to sail at night. The situation is not comparable to, say, the Caribbean islands. Ferries to Capri generally do not have deck seating or standing, but only cabins.

This is only one of the leads I found by a Google search:

But I'd still call a few top-end hotels, as they must have connections with captains/charter companies.
Easy to find someone who speaks English, if that is a concern.

I'm available most of the year...and I can cook.
